birthday weekend

I had a wonderful birthday weekend with my hubby and daughter.  My honey cooked me a
pancake breakfast on Saturday (my birthday) and then we headed out with Olivia and Diego
to the dog/kid park.  Stopped by Genova Deli for lunch and then Marc took Olivia to the pool
so I could have some "me" time (so nice)!  We started our evening with a drink at Encuentro
Cafe and Wine Bar and then headed over to Bocanova for our dinner reservation.  Dinner was

Rock Star Party!

Olivia turned five on August 17th.  We celebrated with a rock star party on
August 22nd at the Sequoia Lodge - a part of Oakland Parks and Recreation. 
It was a great day and a great venue.  Here are a few photos from my friends
Claire and Michael.  I don't know why I didn't get any photos.  Too busy
hosting this fun event.  I almost forgot to tell you we had a band come and
play!  My neighbor is 12 and his band is called halfway.  They did a GREAT

Happy Birthdy Olivia!

Today Olivia turns five.  I can remember the day we brought her home from
the hospital.  She was so little and fragile.  I thought for sure I would drop
and break her!  Today I look at her and see such a funny, loving, creative little
girl.  I'm looking forward to watching her grow.  Happy Birthday sweet girl!  I
love you.
